Using the loft feature to create the different shapes, and the wrap feature to emboss the grips around the outside and deboss the word 'water' around the top edge of the blue bottle.

Concept Sketches

This is a compilation of Alo, Carey and my sketches for our current project in Studio prac 3. We are designing a premium fish packaging that would improve the customer experience at the fish counter in supermarkets.

Razor Analysis

Strengths:                                      

Manageable size                                    
easy to use shape
Close shave with no razor burn
Moisturises as it shaves
Blades clean easy
Light
good handle between the blade and handle

Weaknesses: 

Handle is slippery when wet, even though it is recommended to use in the shower or bath
The handle is hollow and collects water in it.
Mostly plastic, gives a cheap feel, when compared to the mens razor which are heavy and have a silver look.
The holder that it comes with doesn't stick to all surfaces.
When dropped the moisturising bar can break off
Bulky packaging

Models made during concept development. Alo is holding a package made for IJS seafood, fish and chips that is shaped like a boat.

comments on team 3 IRL powerpoint on POGs

The powerpoint is good and there are a few good strategies on how to improve transport and packaging in Ireland however it is quite generalised. Do you have any defined product opportunities or any specific products or services that could have redesign opportunities?
